I’m in the middle trying to replace an A/C hose in my van-and it turns out to be a very very rare unit. (95-96 ford diesel) I’ve found ONE on the planet on Ebay-and it totally gouged up. $185 for the hose-and $38.50 shipping!

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Any body have connections to old Ford inventories?

Its a very complex piece-starting with an aluminum block on the back of the compressor. 180* hard pipe bends-ports for switches-etc. Plus I don’t have the exact hose to match. I might have to try to get one made -or breakdown and pay the stupid price.

A hose shop should be able to make you a new one of these without too much trouble so long as you’ve got the old assembly . They’ll braze new fittings onto the original aluminium blocks and couplers and replace the hose sections with new hose.
